Tests on diesel samples from Matrix and Total filling stations have revealed alarmingly high levels of sulphur and low flash points compared to that of Dangote.

Sulphur content in these samples was recorded at 2,631ppm and 1,829ppm respectively, significantly exceeding the standard limit of 50ppm.

Additionally, their flash points were measured at 63°C and 26°C, falling below the required 66°C.

In stark contrast, Dangote’s diesel sample showed a sulphur content of only 87.6ppm and a flash point of 96°C, meeting and surpassing industry standards.

These findings have also prompted Dangote to invite independent testing to verify the quality of its diesel.
